Engineered Material Systems, Inc. (EMS), a leading global supplier of conductive inks and interconnect materials for printed electronics, will exhibit its durable conductive inks, insulators and SMT adhesives in Booth #1222 at the IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take place Feb 14-16th in San Diego, CA. Durable inks and adhesives work well on traditional polyester film but also on pliable or stretchable substrates like thermoplastic urethane (TPU) or with ink heat-transfer systems.

CI-1036 silver ink offers superior durability on PET film or TPU films. DI-7542 insulation ink provides high humidity resistance and crease resistance when matched with CI-1036 on PET films. DI-7540 is the material of choice on TPU for stretchability.

EMS inks and adhesives are tested in severe environmental and physical tests to deliver durable printed electronics and severe environments. New form-factor printed electronics on TPU or similar soft and pliable substrates are driving new solutions in wearable electronics or e-textiles.
