Santa Clara � September 2008 � NBS Design, Inc. announces its third expansion in three years with the opening of a 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art custom-built manufacturing facility at 2950 Patrick Henry Dr., in Santa Clara, Calif.
The move is based on continually increasing customer demand for NPI pilot to domestic production on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and PCB assembly. The new facility houses not only state-of-the-art JUK-based SMT lines but also 11 box build lines, five additional X-ray systems as well as increased ICT and AOI capability.
The move accommodates recent growth to enable the company to better serve the customers in Santa Clara and the surrounding area.
CEO and President Craig Arcuri said that the move is essential in being able to provide superior services to the region. �Not only does this expansion allow us to serve additional NPI/Pilot customers, but it also allows us to provide domestic production capabilities to our customers. We work very hard to go the extra mile for our customers,� said Craig. �Even through our growth, we have managed to maintain the flexibility to provide services and programs to meet the specific needs of each NBS customer.�
Arcuri continued to say that the new office provides the same services as before, including a comprehensive range of integrated contract manufacturing services from NPI to pilot production solutions, as well as a range of quick-turn services.
