P.D. Circuits Receives Grant for Lean Process Training

HAMPSTEAD, N.H. - February 2010 - P.D. Circuits, Inc., specializing in delivering the highest quality PCBs, technical support, and service to OEM and EMS companies worldwide, announces that it has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,524 to be used toward Lean Processing training.

 

The grant, awarded by the New Hampshire Job Training Fund, is designed to enhance work skills and to help New Hampshire companies maintain leadership positions in competitive global markets. Training will include the Principles of Lean Processing, Value Stream Mapping Systems and effective Kaizen event implementation.

 

“P. D. Circuits continues to invest in our future and this grant helps cover a significant portion of the $20,000 cost of the initial phase of our formal Lean Implementation program," said David Wolff, President of P. D. Circuits.

 

Through the Job Training Fund, the State of New Hampshire matches businesses dollar for dollar in their efforts to attract new businesses, assist in the expansion of business and retain business in the State of New Hampshire.
