Carlsbad, CA – April 26, 2012: Machine Vision Products, Inc., a worldwide leader in Automated Optical Inspection today announced that their newest Ultra V platform has won the 6th SMT China Award for Automated Optical Inspection. The Ultra V is the fifth generation of the Ultra platform.
The Ultra V is the fastest AOI system MVP has produced. Aimed at the highest volume manufacturing lines the Ultra V’s unique architecture is designed around the fastest operating system, 64 bit multi-core computing, 8mp cameras, telecentric optics and Quad-Color Lighting. As well as providing the capabilities for Dual Lane operation, combined with dual program and dual system operation.

Across the full range of MVP AOI solutions MVP has implemented unique software allowing users to quickly generate performance based inspection databases.
