This low-cost wafer pen accepts all of Virtual Industries press-fit wafer tips and an adaptor that accommodates die/SMT handling tips. Wafer tips are available for handling wafers sizes from 2 to 12" in diameter. The wafer pen is available for 1/16" ID or 1/8" ID vacuum hoses.
Operation is simple. This normally open pen allows wafers to picked up by touching the wafer-tip to the wafer and released by tapping on the release button. It is available as a standalone wafer pen or as a kit with vacuum hose, holder, vacuum source and wafer tip.
