Christopher Associates Wins Prestigious Industry Award for Its Akila XR-3 X-ray Inspection System

Christopher Associates Inc. announced that it has been awarded a 2011 NPI Award in the category of Test and Inspection – AXI for its Akila XR-3 X-ray Inspection System. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, April 12, 2011 ceremony that took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas during IPC APEX 2011.

WKK and Christopher jointly introduced the new XR-3 X-ray system from the Akila product line. With its low maintenance sealed type X-ray source and 118° emitter, the Akila XR-3 X-ray system is perfectly positioned to provide high value and ease of use for inspecting excess solder, insufficient solder, voids, bridging and opens.
