Vancouver, Washington, April 26, 2016: Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider ControlTek, Inc. has hired Mike Hagen as the company’s new Principal Engineer.
Mr. Hagen brings decades of experience to his new role, with expertise that spans the product development process; he has expanded his responsibilities throughout his career to include positions as Manufacturing and Electronics Engineer, Evaluation Engineer, Engineering Manager and even Director of Advanced Development. In addition, he has chaired five different technical standards committees working to develop the new XVI test and measurement standard.
After several years working within larger organizations such as Tektronix, Hagen has spent the last decade in the startup world bringing exciting new products to the public, including the E-Park personal parking meter, a handheld device that allows users to pay for parking without an outside meter. Currently, he holds ten unique patents.
“Start-ups are a lot of fun,” says Hagan “and a lot of work. Helping them find success is definitely a passion of mine.”
That is a passion that is shared by the entire ControlTek organization. Over the past 45 years, ControlTek has worked tirelessly to support new product development and to provide all of the resources needed by both small and large companies to prepare products for successful production, from feasibility and planning to design, prototyping, and testing.
