Libra Industries’ NPI Team Relocates to Focus on Quick-turn Prototypes

Mar 03, 2014

Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services provider, announces that its New Product Introduction (NPI) team recently completed the move from Plant One to Plant Two. In conjunction with the move, the team acquired additional equipment. With the added equipment and dedicated focus on quick-turn prototypes, Libra Industries’ NPI team was able to build and ship seven new prototype assemblies within the first two weeks at Plant 2.

Libra Industries’ electronic manufacturing, system integration and box build operations are shared between two plants that are located within walking distance from each other. Each plant is state-of-the-art and offers the latest in climate and electrostatic control to ensure the cleanest, static-free environment. Plant One houses the company’s corporate offices as well as production board-level assembly. Plant Two, just down the street, is now home to the New Product Introduction (NPI) Center and System Integration operations.

After undergoing the move, the NPI Center emerged from a three-day transition as team “X-Factor” whose mission is to reduce time-to-market for Libra Industries’ valued customers. Libra Industries’ dedicated NPI and prototype group provides clients with an efficient transition from prototype to production. The engineer-managed group provides the highest quality prototypes with design feedback for manufacturability to reduce manufacturing production cost.

The recent move will enable Libra Industries to continue to provide customized manufacturing solutions to help make its customers more competitive and improve their profitability. For more information, visit www.libraind.com.
