Oct 09, 2009

MADISON, AL — October 2009 — STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training, distribution, consulting, laboratory analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that it will feature key products and services at the upcoming Space Coast SMTA Expo and Barbeque, scheduled to take place Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lagoon House Education Center in Palm Bay, FL.

STI works closely with its outside team to meet customers’ needs, while exceeding expectations. As a stocking distributor with an on-site inventory, STI performs daily cycle-counts to ensure accuracy and availability of the items customers need the most. All in-stock orders are shipped the same day when received prior to 2:30 p.m. CST. All fulfillment staff is HAZMAT trained and certified to ensure that orders for solders, fluxes, chemicals and coatings are handled and shipped appropriately. STI ensures that any of the flammable, corrosive or combustible materials often used in production are packaged and handled safely and with care.

Training Resources will be featuring IPC courses, training kits and a BGA reballing kit. The Training Materials Division of STI Electronics is the largest provider of resources supporting process development and solder/assembly training worldwide. These resources are available as standardized kits and materials or customized for specific applications. Standardized training kits are used in certification programs for industry segments such as IPC, NASA, commercial and even company-unique programs.

In addition to the standardized training program support materials, STI Electronics provides unique or custom training materials ranging from chip scale and BGA to through-hole and terminal attachments. STI also provides cable and harness kits to support cable fabrication programs. Process development kits for machine applications provide an opportunity to evaluate operation capabilities for issues such as fine-pitch production and lead-free materials.
