Jun 04, 2021 Computrol, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment ofMichael Fric to Process Engineer. Mr. Fric is an engineering professional with hands-on experience with a variety of product development and assembly manufacturing processes and concepts.

He will be a great asset and is already having an impact.”
Fric brings years of successful process solving in the manufacturability of printed circuit boards, processing semiconductors, solar panel and LED industries. He has strong electro/mechanical analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and its application in manufacturing. He has experience with DOE (Design of Experiments) andDFMA (Design for Mfg & Assembly).
At Computrol, Fric will assist in integrating new products into production through manufacturing process design and flow. He will develop facility layouts, line design, process and material flows, and tooling design. Additionally, he will develop and maintain other manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure system efficiencies.
Fric’s professional affiliations include SMTA, Boise Kickstand Innovation Group, Association of Semiconductor Equipment Engineers and Photovoltaic Solar Cell Manufacturing.
