Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services provider, today announced that it has purchased a VectraElite™ Automated Wave Soldering System from Speedline Technologies. The VectraElite™ combines innovative technology in an accessible, ergonomic platform.

VectraElite™ is the wave soldering solution for medium- to high-volume production that requires fast changeover, process flexibility and system reliability. The VectraElite™ combines innovative technology in an accessible platform to provide the tools necessary to achieve a zero-defect process at the lowest possible cost of ownership.

With the new installation, Libra will benefit from unparalleled high-performance fluxing, advanced industry-proven solder nozzle technology and innovative, feature-packed performance. The system guarantees consistent, even preheating with Vectaheat and High-Velocity Convection (HVC) topside preheaters. Additionally, the Windows®-based operating system provides a process notes function and data logging traceability feature.
