Assel, Poland based complex contract manufacturing services provider, implemented a CSR strategy (Corporate Social Responsibility) inspired by ISO 26000, as part of the competition 'Increasing the competitiveness of the regions through corporate social responsibility' announced by Polish Agency for Enterprise Development’.
'The main objective of the project is to create a CSR strategy at Assel based on the ISO 26000 guidelines,' says a manager at Assel, 'Assel will thereby increase its staff’s awareness regarding ethics, consideration for public interests, environmental protection, as well as relationships with various groups of company’s stakeholders'.
