PXI Signs Agreement for Sub-distribution of DEN-ON INSTRUMENTS Legacy Products under Seika Machinery

Feb 07, 2016

DEN-ON INSTRUMENTS, CO., LTD. is pleased to announce that Seika Machinery and PXI (Pacific X-ray Imaging) have forged a partnership for the promotion and support of DEN-ON products. Under the agreement, PXI will be a sub-distributor for the DEN-ON line in the U.S. under Seika Machinery.

“I believe this partnership will redefine how DEN-ON supports our customer base and future potential customers,” commented Raymond LaFleur, General Manager Overseas Sales and Marketing for DEN-ON. “This partnership also will bring together the combined capabilities and expertise from both teams’ many years of experience.

Seika Machinery will remain DEN-ON’s primary U.S. distributor and will work together with PXI as a team to support the present customer base with legacy tools and new product lines.

Tim Cappoen, Product Manager for Seika Machinery, Inc., commented, “We’re pleased to be adding PXI to the DEN-ON team here in the U.S. We feel that this move will help accelerate growth and provide strong support for an outstanding lineup of rework systems and tools from a manufacturer that has been providing solutions for more than 50 years.”

PXI has more than 30 years of experience designing new systems or refurbishing existing systems. The company offers systems for failure analysis, as well as product quality and component verification. As stated by Dale Thayer, President of PXI, “With the joining of these resources to the DEN-ON team, we are looking forward to providing the best solutions and support services to our customers. With an experienced team, we not only understand the solutions our products provide, but we also understand the important synergy of rework and X-ray systems.”

The company was first founded under the name of DEN-ON Corporation on September 19, 1963. It was established with the purpose of research, development and design of sound systems for studios and music halls. After that, it became involved in the broader area of sound and music control boards and other similar systems. In 1982, a significant portion of the company became involved in the soldering and desoldering industry and the company then changed its name to DEN-ON INSTRUMENTS to more appropriately match the new direction of the company.
