Weller Tools received a 2023 NPI Award in the category of Soldering – Hand Tools for its WXsmart. The award was announced during a ceremony that took place Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 in San Diego.
Answering all application needs from Pico, Micro, Heavy Duty Soldering and Tweezers Soldering from component size 0402 to 1612 and beyond, WXsmart is easily extendable to a full rework station with the WXair Rework Module. It is an all-in-one station covering all soldering, desoldering and rework application from smallest to largest components. No additional station is needed.
The station has 300 W and 2 soldering channels. The Rework Module is equipped with 1 hot air and 1 vacuum channel. In total 16 tools are connectable to the WXsmart.
