Stannol Wins Two Mexico Technology Awards for Flux and Solder Wire Innovations

Sep 16, 2024

Stannol is honored to announce its achievement of winning two prestigious Mexico Technology Awards for 2024. The company has been recognized in the categories of Flux and Solder Wire for its commitment to innovation in soldering technology. The awards were presented at a prestigious ceremony hosted by Mexico EMS on September 11, 2024 before the commencement of SMTA Guadalajara.

Flux-Ex series: Stannol’s new Flux-Ex series has been awarded in the Flux category. The new water-based cleaning line is designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern manufacturing while prioritizing environmental compatibility. The new Flux-Ex series includes broadband and specialty cleaners that are perfectly tailored to their respective areas of application – e.g. for cleaning before the soldering process or for removing residues after soldering. All cleaners are delivered as a ready-to-use-mix.

Kristall 600-Series and Flowtin Solder Wires: In the Solder Wire category, Stannol’s Kristall 600-Series, including the Fairtin and Flowtin product lines, has been recognized. The Flowtin solder wires incorporate innovative micro-additives that extend solder tip life by up to 30% and enhance the overall quality and durability of solder joints. The Kristall 600-Series, featuring Fairtin, combines synthetic resins and modern activators to deliver fast, safe wetting with minimal, transparent residues, ensuring superior soldering results.

“We are thrilled to receive these distinguished awards,” said Thomas Ruch, Business Development Manager North America at Stannol. “These accolades highlight our dedication to advancing soldering technology while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability. We are proud of our team’s innovation and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our industry.”
