AIM, a leading global manufacturer of solder assembly materials for electronics assembly, PC fabrication, component manufacturing and other industries, announces that its Mexican facility, Soldadura de Mexico, has received its Clean Industry Certification.
To successfully achieve the Clean Industry Certification, Soldadura de Mexico demonstrated its ability to consistently follow regulations relating to water use and management, contamination of soil and subsoil, oil pollution, special waste management, and environmental hazards, while maintaining a consistent level of quality throughout its operations.
“We are very pleased to have earned this highest environmental distinction from the Mexican authorities,” said Ariel Parrales, AIM Operations Manager, Mexico. “This certification was made possible through the hard work of Eva Jacobo, Quality Control Manager, Mexico, and the entire Soldadura de Mexico team, reflecting AIM’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.”
The Clean Industry Certification program is a voluntary tool that audits companies for environmental obligations. Additionally, it ensures compliance with environmental laws, reduces the emission of gases into the atmosphere and promotes environmental awareness among workers.
