Additionally, it features precision semi automatic gantry motion, automated nitrogen gas switching and optional IR bottom heater. PMT400S provides significant performance in a small 28 inch (711 mm) sq footprint.
Standard features of PMT400S include a newly refined, self contained solder removal tool providing superior performance and reduced maintenance time. Additionally, it can prepare up to 51mm BGA site on assemblies with 2 inch tall (50mm) top and 1.5inch (37.5 mm) bottom side components. Even with its small footprint, the system easily handles boards as large as 14 by 20 inch (356 by 578 mm).
