Vitronics Soltec USA has announced it will introduce its new YouTube channel at their booth (3509) at the IPC APEX 2012 trade show in San Diego, CA. The show runs from Feb. 28 - Mar. 1.
The new channel will initially feature several animations that highlight key features and functions of each of Vitronics Soltec’s three soldering machine types: wave, selective, and reflow. The channel was created in an effort to ensure all information reaching their customers regarding their products is amalgamated, accurate, and easily accessible.
“We are excited to have launched our official company YouTube channel,” said Laurie Hume, Business Unit Manager of Vitronics Soltec USA. “It provides us with a place to house our many product videos and in the future, it can potentially be a tool for machine training and troubleshooting.” After the show, Hume said there will likely be footage of the Vitronics Soltec booth at APEX uploaded to the channel for anyone who did not have the opportunity to visit it.
As a special promotion at APEX, visitors to the Vitronics Soltec booth will have an opportunity to view the new YouTube channel and enter into a drawing to win an iPad 2. The YouTube channel will be accessible at the booth through a QR code, which is scannable by any mobile device that can download a “Scan” app. The promotion will continue after the show until the drawing on May 1, 2012.
