ECT’s CPG TO HIGHLIGHT LEADING ELECTRICAL TEST TECHNOLOGIES AT THE DEL MAR ELECTRONICS SHOW

Apr 16, 2010

Pomona, CA — Everett Charles Technologies (ECT) Contact Products Group (CPG) will highlight its latest electrical test technologies in booth 721 at the upcoming Del Mar Electronics Show, scheduled to take place May 5-6, 2010 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, CA.

ECT’s Contact Products Group will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s latest technologies and answer customer inquiries related to its range of products, which include:

Battery Probes ― ECT’s versatile line of battery interconnect probes provide design flexibility to match any performance, cost and assembly requirements. The company’s design expertise and complete manufacturing capabilities can help bring products to market faster and easier.

ZIP™ Final Test Probes ― ECT, the innovators in Pogo® pin technology, provide the next generation of spring contact pin technology for lab and production test applications with the ZIP™ series. While its scalable design allows for varying device-specific applications, this revolutionary combination of “flat” plunger geometry and compression spring technology delivers high-yield test performance combined with unparalleled manufacturing economy, providing a reduced Cost of Test (COT). Available in both high performance and economy versions, this family of “flat” designs can pay dividends on the final test floor.

LFRE Probes ― A variety of LFRE tip styles provides the flexibility to meet any application needs. The probe tips are manufactured with ECT’s MicroSharp™ and plated with ECT’s proprietary LFRE plating technology, offering resistance to contamination and wear in today’s lead-free applications for the ultimate in long lasting tip sharpness and contact integrity.

PogoPlus® ― The PogoPlus® Series addresses the unique demands of loaded board testing, featuring an enhanced version of the legendary bias-ball design to virtually eliminate “false opens.” ECT offers a full range of sizes and tip styles to accommodate all manners of testing requirements.

R.F. Measurement Probes ― ECT offers the K-50 Series Coaxial Probes, which provide an instrumentation quality interface for plunge-to-board broadband R.F. measurements up to 12GHz. The K-50 Series probes serve as a Network Analyzer port-extending accessory, and can be mounted in any high-volume test fixture or handheld for accurate, repeatable signal and R.F. power measurements.
