Vibration and Shock course

� WHAT - A short course on practical vibration and shock testing, measurement, analysis and calibration, also HALT, ESS and HASS

� WHEN - October 1-3, 2001

� WHERE - Swiss Ammunition Enterprise Corp., Allmendstrasse 74, CH-3602, Thun, Switzerland

� WHO - The course will be taught by Wayne Tustin, internationally recognized vibration and shock educator, assisted by Markus B. Dumelin, manager of the Department of Environmental Technology within SM Swiss Ammunition Enterprise Corp.

� WHY - This course is needed by engineers and technicians who conduct developmental and production vibration and shock tests. Also by designers of products that must survive tests AND rigorous service conditions. Also by metrologists who measure vibration and shock on automobiles, aircraft, etc. Also by electronics production and quality control personnel who conduct highly accelerated life tests (HALT), environmental stress screening (ESS) and highly accelerated stress screening (HASS). This course material is not offered by university engineering departments.
