SMT Plus Inc. and Accelerated Designs Inc. (ADI) have entered into a joint agreement to provide customers with CAD library software solutions. SMT Plus is a provider of land pattern libraries and training, while ADI performs PCB design and develops translator and library software.
The first product to be released under the agreement, a land pattern generator, offers an extensive land pattern library. SMT Plus pattern formulas, IPC-compatible patterns or custom patterns are available, with results viewable on the screen. The patterns can be modified and finalized in preparation for export to a variety of CAD systems with output files matching your exact layer structure requirements.
"This agreement builds upon our long-established relationship with ADI," said James Blankenhorn, president of SMT Plus. "It provides us with an excellent opportunity to help in the creation, use and standardization of libraries for our clients. Working with ADI, we have a solution that reduces design time, increases consistency and lowers the cost of product design."
