LPKF, a leading manufacturer of laser and electronic systems, announces that it will host a new webinar series titled Laser Plastic Welding - Design Guidelines.
The same webinar will be presented on three different dates, each in a different time zone:
- July 27 at 11 a.m. Pacific time
- August 3 at 11 a.m. Central time
- August 10 at 11 a.m. Eastern time
Laser plastic welding is quickly growing to become a major player in the plastics joining world. With advantages like high precision, quality and particulate-free welding, laser has become an effective means for joining many new applications. The focus of this webinar is to help attendees understand more about this technology and if it is right for their individual applications.
This webinar is designed to benefit engineering managers, product designers, design engineers, operations managers, design consultants and C-level managers, and will focus on recommendations and considerations for engineers looking to design parts to be assembled via laser plastic welding.
Attendees also will learn about laser plastic welding fundamentals; material, additives, colors and how they are relevant to the process; Joint designing and example joints; clamp tooling, pressure and gaps; and welding systems and laser influence on the process.
A formal Q&A session will take place at the end of the webinar where attendees will have the opportunity to present technical questions to LPKF laser welding representatives.
