The ProtoMat S-Series circuit board plotters are bench top systems ideal for virtually all in-house PCB prototyping.

LPKF, a leading manufacturer of laser and electronics systems, announces that it will exhibit the ProtoMat S-Series, E33, and ProtoLaser U3 and S in Booth #1446 at the upcoming Design West Summit, scheduled to take place March 27-29, 2012 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. LPKF's experienced staff will be on hand at the show to demonstrate in-house prototyping and offer advice for a wide range of design applications.

The ProtoMat S-Series circuit board plotters are bench top systems ideal for virtually all in-house PCB prototyping. Each system is upgradeable and include special features such as automatic tool change, solder paste dispensing and automatic milling depth adjustment. With high speed, repeatability, and easy-to-use software, the S-Series milling machines can produce a variety of PCBs including multilayer, RF and microwave. The ProtoMat E33 is an entry-level system ideal for exercises, experiments, and educational applications. It has the ability to create single or double-sided circuit board prototypes chemical free.

The ProtoLaser U3, released in January 2012, is designed for the cutting and depaneling of flex, rigid, and rigid-flex materials. It is ideal for small batch production on demand and is quiet, compact and ready to use with little more than a click of a button. The integrated UV laser eliminates residue, creates geometrically precise contours and processes an incredibly wide variety of materials including ceramics and laminated substrates.

Ideal for PCB prototyping and production on-demand, the ProtoLaser S has unparalleled accuracy and resolution with instant turnaround on circuit prototypes. The advanced laser technology shortens development time by combining high processing speeds and easy data entry, allowing for the production of customized small batches. It is compact, safe to operate, and works on virtually all substrates.
