Rolling Meadows, IL – BEST Inc. announces the release of its custom ESD insert cutting program. These inserts are designed to protect high valued PCBs or electronic components from shipping damage during the design phase prior to the board and packaging design being finalized. BEST can take in material and design the package cut out from mechanical drawings or samples. These custom cut outs can be shipped within 2 working days after acceptance of the drawing.
Foam sheets up to 2.0” in thickness can be cut out. Materials that are non conductive such as “pink poly” or ESD safe foam are typical of the insert materials which can be cut out.
“These custom packaging inserts will help protect customers’ precious prototypes or boards that have a lot of intellectual property from being damaged. Several customers have already liked the clean and professional looking packaging ” stated Chris Edwards, BEST Product Manager.
$150 is the cost for the cost for designing and cutting out a foam sheet up to 18 x 24” with a maximum thickness of 2”. Lead time is 1-2 days from acceptance of the final engineering drawing. More information can be found here at
