The installation was anchored by PROMATION’s EBL and EBU clean room magazine handling systems designed for Auer magazines. These systems offer a small foot print with tons of capacity, holding up to 10 magazines (5 up and 5 down) with storage to the rear of the machine. Magazines are bar code validated as they enter the elevator for orientation and trace-ability, while carriers are also read and traced as they flow through the systems.
Other inspection, interconnect and buffering systems were added to complete the line.
