Oct 08, 2012 Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN), announces that St. Petersburg, Russia-based Dipaul Technologies is the winner of its X-ray Distributor of the Year Award for 2012. The Award was presented at a Gala Dinner attended by Nordson DAGE European X-ray distributors.
“The decision was a tough one especially when you are having a successful year and you are fortunate enough to have best group of Distributors in Europe,” said Keith Bryant, Global Sales Director Nordson DAGE X-ray Systems. “However despite the strong performance of the majority of our distributors, there was one that stood out amongst the others.”
Mr. Bryant explained that he uses more than sales numbers to make the decision. “I also look at their Web sites, the number of events they have organized and attended, plus the working relationship at all levels between our two organizations. So it is more about partnership than just simply sales. This year’s winner, Dipaul Technologies, ticked all the boxes. Since partnering with Nordson DAGE in January 2010, they have worked very hard to rapidly build our brand in the vast and challenging Russian market. Dipaul have achieved this by holding a large number of regionally based technology seminars and workshops, establishing and maintaining a very large and targeted database and producing regular newsletters.”
“This thorough ground work has really started to pay dividends this year, resulting in a strong, rapidly growing, project list which Dipaul continue to develop and support. Part of Dipaul’s strategy was to appoint Ms. Ksenia Makarova in January this year as Head of the Inspection and Test Group, as a way to focus on X-ray inspection products. This has helped close more sales.”
