C & S Automation appointed Distributor of the Autotronik range of SMT Placement machines and associated equipment for the United Kingdom and Ireland

C & S Automation Ltd has been appointed as the Distributors of the Autotronik range of SMT Placement machines and associated equipment for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The new range of Autotronik equipment available includes entry level SMT placement machines, Reflow ovens and Screen printers.

The range of placement machines available are all designed especially for the fast, highly accurate placement of components in small and medium batch sizes. Each machine has the ability to handle a component range from 0201 up to 38mm square. A standard �On the fly� vision system is fitted to each machine, with an optional bottom camera available for the placement of fine pitch QFP and BGA devices.

Smart tape feeders are available with each machine; these provide fast set-up and easy programming. Universal IC stick feeders and tray handler, with access up to 14 waffle trays� are also available. Machine options available include CAD conversion software, dispenser system and in-line conveyor systems.

The Autotronik BS1400 stencil printer comes with AT-align automatic fiducial finding and PCB board offset adjustment system, where the PCB alignment and printing process are fully automatic. This is very suitable for precision batch printing. The economic model BS1300 is semi-automatic, which is built with a dual camera system, the ultra-fine pitch printing for 0.3mm QFP IC is easy to obtain when used with OPVA software.

Also available is the range of Autotronik high performance full hot air convection reflow soldering system. These ovens�s can handle boards up to 365mm width with less than +/-2 centigrade degree temperatures gradient.
