Five consecutive years of strong growth have led electronics manufacturing equipment supplier Manncorp, Inc. to relocate and expand its corporate headquarters. After a comprehensive search, the company this spring purchased, upgraded and moved into a new facility in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, giving the growing company 18,000 sq. ft. of sales, support and warehouse space, plus a full on-site gym for employees.
The headquarters is also home to the company's marketing and web development team which produces Manncorp's comprehensive, user-oriented website. Visitors to www.manncorp.com are able to easily browse Manncorp's extensive SMT, through-hole assembly, and production support equipment catalog, access detailed specifications, photos and videos, and view pricing on all equipment, options and accessories.
Those who want a closer look are also welcome to visit Manncorp’s new SMT Demo Center, featuring three active surface mount assembly lines continually engaged in building actual product. “After doing this for so many years, I’ve learned that engineers want to see equipment running in a production environment,” says Henry Mann. “They’re not impressed by canned demos on a fancy showroom floor. There are plenty of trade shows for that.”
The assembly lines at the demo center range from low volume/high mix, featuring an automatic MC1400 stencil printer, a dual-head MC-392 pick and place machine, and a CR-5000 reflow oven, to a high-capacity/high mix assembly line showcasing the new AP3000 inline stencil printer coupled with a four-head, 10,000 cph MC-388 pick & place machine and an eight-zone, full-convection CR-8000 reflow oven. An assortment of PCB loaders, connecting conveyors, and unloaders provide complete line automation. Visitors will also see Manncorp’s latest models of automated optical inspection (AOI), selective soldering, rework and PCB board cleaning equipment.
Located just off I-276 and convenient to both I-95 and the Philadelphia International Airport, the new address for Manncorp’s headquarters is 1610 Republic Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Telephone numbers, 800-PIK-MANN (745-6266) and 215-830-1200, and fax number, 215-830-1206, remain unchanged.
