"National Seminar on Physics and Technology of Sensors" (NSPTS) is a continued activity ever since it was conceptualized and organized first in 1994 by the Department of Electronic Science, University of Pune. Since then, the activity has grown into a well-attended national event in India, adored and awaited by the Sensors and Actuators community across the country. Until now, 16 National Seminars have been successfully organized, alternately at Pune and other places across India. Encouraged by the resounding success of this annual event, we the organizing partners have now planned First International Symposium on this topic of immense interest to scientists, academicians and industry personnel alike.
We solicit high quality research paper contributions from all, covering all the relevant topics mentioned in this symposium (“Areas of Focus”) or any other topics related to Sensors and Actuators. All the papers will be reviewed by independent experts before acceptance is accorded. The reviewers will be provided with specific points to scale the paper contents between 1 and 10. The paper would be accepted only if the average score is 7 or above. The abstracts must contain short description regarding importance and relevance of the work apart from the important results (Limited number of graphs or photographs are allowed, if found necessary by the authors) and a gist of results and discussion.
The authors are requested to prepare and submit the manuscript strictly as per the instructions given at the Abstract preparation and Submission page.
Deadlines: (If you need additional time for Submission or have any other questions, please contact Dr. Diganta Das (diganta@umd.edu) at CALCE or Dr. Girish Pathak (gjp@cmet.gov.in) at C-Met, India.)
Please note: The abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings, which will be available on registration to all participants. After receipt of abstracts and their review, the corresponding author will be intimated by e-mail about the acceptance.
It is our endeavor to publish the full paper in highly rated International journals. Simultaneously, the papers will be published by IEEE in Xplore on-line. Please visit ‘Publication in Journals or IEEE Xplore’ for further details.
