Cobar Solder Products' exhibit will include a complete range of leadfree products and advanced fluxes based on Nihon Superior's patented SN100C-alloy. Cobar will display its new range of bar solder for wave, selective, tinning, and similar applications) to complement its product offering of solder pastes, fluxes, and cored wire solders.
Cobar Solder Products will also display its XF3 lead-free solder paste, developed to accommodate extended reflow profiles without the use of nitrogen. With XF3, wetting on all common metal surfaces is excellent, yielding shiny joints reminiscent of leaded solders. It exhibits a robust printing window, printing at 150-200mm per second. SN100C-XF3 performs better in eliminating voiding when compared to any SAC-alloy.
Also available will be technical information regarding Cobar's state-of-the art fluxes, in formulations including alcohol-based, low-VOC ,and VOC-free technology, for use in Pb-free and N2-free, SN100C-based wave and selective soldering processes.
