Austin American Technology Wins Mexico Technology Award for X-30 4.0 Fully Automatic Stencil, PCB & Misprint Cleaner

Oct 31, 2023

Austin American Technology (AAT) is proud to announce that it has been honored with a prestigious Mexico Technology Award in the category of Cleaning Equipment. The award recognizes AAT's cutting-edge X-30 4.0 Fully Automatic Stencil, PCB & Misprint Cleaner for its outstanding innovation and performance. The announcement was made during a ceremony held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 at the SMTA Guadalajara in Mexico.

The X-30 4.0 Fully Automatic Stencil, PCB & Misprint Cleaner is the first piece of electronic cleaning equipment to fully incorporate the use of SMART I/O Link devices. Making it the industry’s “SMARTEST” piece of cleaning equipment. The X-30 4.0 utilizes a Vertical Format Batch Cleaning Systems and offers maximum chemistry flexibility, catering to a wide variety of applications. The X Series cleaning systems support the use of aqueous, saponification, semi-aqueous, alcohols, and hybrid solvents, making it ideal for effectively removing flux residues, solder pastes, inks, adhesives, and other residues from boards, stencils, or tooling used in the production process.

One of the key features of the X Series is the incorporation of filtration and a selectable open-loop or closed-loop configuration, addressing environmental and safety concerns. The system ensures consistent cleaning results through its patented method of rotational spraying, creating zones of constantly changing force for superior performance.

The X Series cleaning systems are fully automated, eliminating the need for product transference between wash, rinse, and dry cycles, streamlining the cleaning process and enhancing efficiency. The cleaner's automated, low-profile lift and compact body design provide easy load/unload and one of the smallest footprints in the industry, optimizing floor space utilization.

"We are honored to receive this esteemed recognition for our X-30 4.0 Fully Automatic Stencil, PCB & Misprint Cleaner," said Todd Rountree, President and COO at Austin American Technology. "This award underscores our commitment to delivering innovative and reliable cleaning solutions to our valued customers."

The Mexico Technology Awards celebrate the latest innovations in the Mexican market produced by OEM manufacturing equipment and materials suppliers over the past 12 months. These awards highlight the dedication of companies like Austin American Technology to push the boundaries of technological advancement in the electronics manufacturing industry.
