This new size in the company's small part tip line allows for handling of parts as small as 100 m (the diameter of a human hair). The VSPT series of small parts tips are precision machined from a variety of materials. There are two ESD-safe materials: a static dissipative plastic delrin and a conductive gold plated brass. The non-ESD-safe materials include a high-temperature torlon plastic and a low-cost acetal plastic. The tips are provided on a straight or angled probe with a luer slip connector. These tips work with a continuous flow of vacuum from either an in-house vacuum source or with one of Virtual Industries Tweezer-Vac systems for handling SMD parts as small as 0402, 0101 and 01005. The small parts tip line is sold as single units or optional kits. Tip prices start at US $23.90 for single quantities.
