Fast Circuits Helps Cornell Students Build Underwater Robotics Vehicle

Fast Circuits Inc., a leading manufacturer of printed circuit boards, sponsored a team of Cornell University student engineers by providing them with 2-layered, specially designed PCBs for its autonomous, underwater robotics vehicle (CUAUV), which the team won the 16th International RoboSub Competition held at The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Point Loma, CA.

Markus Burkardt, Cornell CUAUV team leader, said, "We want to thank Fast Circuits for sponsoring our team. Corporate sponsors like Fast Circuits helped us win the competition for four of the last five years.

Fessica Li, technical support specialist of Fast Circuits Inc., said, “The RoboSub competition is an excellent way for young engineers to hone their craft. Fast Circuits has plans to continue sponsoring student engineering teams and organizations."


Headquartered in Sacramento, Fast Circuits Inc. provides PCB fabrication and assembly services. Since 2009, it has manufactured PCBs in low to middle volumes, as well as flexible or rigid PCB prototypes. Its manufacturing plants have earned the certification of ISO 9001:2008. All of its processes of production are in compliance with the IPC-A-600F Class 2 standard.
