Firstronic LLC, a leading electronics manufacturing services provider, is pleased to announce that it recently held one of the largest fundraising events in the Midwest for the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF). The Firstronic team page raised more than $11,000 and the third annual Charity Golf Outing at Timber Ridge raised more than $19,000, for a grand total exceeding $30,000.
Firstronic President & CEO John Sammut commented: “I'd like to thank everyone who supported either our crowd funding page or the event. Your support means a tremendous amount to families like mine who go through the challenge of treating a child with a tumor.”
Since 2010, the Children’s Tumor Foundation’s primary objective has been to fill the clinical drug development pipeline. The CTF’s mission is simple: Drive research, expand knowledge, and advance care for the NF community. More than 70 percent of all NF data in the world has been funded or co-funded by CTF. The Firstronic team believes that the ability to deliver superior solutions starts with ethical business practices. As a growing company, Firstronic continues to find ways to give back to the community. For more information, visit www.firstronic.com.
