Q Corporation, a leading global supplier of SMT production solutions, announces that it will highlight the FANUC M-1iA robot with integrated taping cell in Booth #325 at the IPC Midwest exhibition, scheduled to take place September 21-22, 2011 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL.
The taping cell with the FANUC M-1iA robot features a unique six-axis delta style pick-and-place to accommodate difficult-to-pick parts and secondary processes and inspections prior to placing the part in the tape. Additionally, the easy-to-use system has a human machine interface and touch screen controls, as well as multiple mounting options.
The high-speed robot features wrist speeds of 3,000 mm/sec and repeatability of 0.02 mm. The cell also provides built-in vision capability for part location or inspection.
