BTU International, Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, will highlight its next-generation thermal processing capabilities in booth #1305 at the PV Taiwan International Photovoltaic Forum & Exhibition, scheduled to take place October 5-7, 2011, in Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
“This year, we are focusing on next-generation technologies to help our customers get more out of their production lines,” said Jan-Paul van Maaren, BTU's vice president of marketing. “Dual-lane processing with our Tritan™ firing furnace can increase capital productivity by 50 percent and the value of Class B cells can be fully restored using our forming gas process and annealing furnaces.”
BTU's new TRITAN™ dual-lane metallization firing system will be highlighted at the show. This state-of-the-art system features increased throughput at 3600 wafers per hour, an edge support transport system and a temperature spike faster than three seconds. The 90 MW metallization firing system also features BTU’s unique TriSpeed™ technology, allowing users to take advantage of superior ramp rates - up to 200ºC per second - without compromising the drying and cooling sections of the profile.
BTU also will feature the MERIDIAN™ in-line diffusion system. The MERIDIAN™ is the industry’s most successful in-line diffusion system with well over 2 GW in customer commitments.
