Christopher Associates Inc. introduces the Marantz iSpector Island, a new concept in automatic optical inspection (AOI). Capable of working in “lights out” environments, the iSpector Island combines the benchtop Marantz iSpector AOI system with full automation. The result is one of the most efficient, cost-effective AOI solutions on the market today.
Incoming substrates are queued and then sorted after inspection into “known good” or “to-be-verified.” Data then is downloaded to an optional verification station for more efficient tracking and sorting.
Marantz’s unique 24-bit full-color imaging software, nine-camera hardware and robust algorithms offer one of the most advanced AOI solutions in the industry with rapid programming and low false call rates. More than 6,000 Marantz systems have been installed worldwide since 1995.
