Nordson DAGE, a division of Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN), announces that Hal Hendrickson has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) to serve as Treasurer.

The SMTA follows its mission statement from every level, whether nationally or by each individual chapter. Members benefit from the ability to access the mass library of technical papers downloadable on the Web site, as well as through educational opportunities with classes and presentations offered both in person and through webinars.

I am pleased to continue my service on the Board of Directors and to take the role of Treasurer. SMTA is a unique organization of professionals and volunteers, and I am proud of the small contribution I am able to make,” commented Hendrickson. “I was pleased with the first three years I spent on the board and am looking forward to making a significant contribution to the success of SMTA over the next three years.”

The SMTA membership is an international network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience and develop solutions in electronics assembly technologies, including microsystems, emerging technologies and related business operations.

Mr. Hal Hendrickson is the Sales Director - Global Accounts (X-ray) and Sales Manager for the Americas of Dage Precision Industries located in Fremont, CA.  He brings more than 27 years of industry experience selling and representing various production equipment manufacturers in the electronics industry. Hal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Speech from Southern Utah University. He has served as the Vice President of Membership of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the SMTA and has presented at various chapter organizations around the U.S.  He also has written and published several papers.
