OEMs and buyers of custom part manufacturing who come to this year’s New England Design-2-Part (D2P) Show will find a convention center filled to capacity with American job shops and contract manufacturers. Design-2-Part show management have announced that the upcoming show is sold out and that it will be the largest design and contract manufacturing show ever held in New England. The show will take place November 2 & 3, 2011 at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The 2011 event will be the 32nd annual show presented by D2P in the Boston area.
The D2P show provides design engineers, manufacturing engineers, manufacturing managers, and purchasers their best opportunity to meet local and national job shops and contract manufacturers to source custom parts, components, prototypes, design services, and assemblies. Over 250 of the finest American contract manufacturing companies will be exhibiting their design-through-manufacturing services covering more than 300 product categories for the metal, plastics, rubber, and electronics industries.
The New England Design-2-Part Show is the largest show in the region to focus exclusively on design and contract manufacturing services. The show will feature over 50 new exhibiting companies from last year’s show so even returning visitors will have plenty to explore.
Although most of the exhibiting companies are regional suppliers, located within 200 miles of the Boston area, many are national companies that offer manufacturing techniques and services that may not be readily available in the region. Design-2-Part Shows are working shows and visitors are encouraged to bring sample parts and drawings.
Visitors will enjoy that the show is conveniently located just off of I-495 in Marlborough, MA and has ample free parking. Show hours are 9:00-4:00 on Wednesday, November 2, and 9:00-3:30 on Thursday, November 3.
