ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces Tim Tsui’s newly expanded role. In addition to managing the company’s overseas ventures, Tim is taking over the new Assembly Engineering department.
In his expanded role, Tim will be responsible for the development of new processes while maintaining current processes. He will generate shop documentation, e.g. routes (travelers), assembly drawings, machine programming, tooling, etc., and produce daily shop process supports. Additionally, he will interface with customers regarding process-related concerns, queries, CARs and REPs, and support all customer process requirements and requests.
Tim has worked as ACD’s International Production Manager for more than a year. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a progressive approach toward technology and process. Prior to joining ACD, Tim worked at TI for nine years in the DoD portion of the business directing assembly methods, tooling, line support and design for manufacturing. He holds a BSIE degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
“ACD has spent the last 18 months increasing capacity and advancing our capabilities. We look forward to leveraging Tim’s three decades of assembly processing experience, expanding ACD’s technology map even further,” commented ACD President & CEO W. Scott Fillebrown.
