ACD Appoints Supply Chain Manager to Enhance Customer Service

ACD, a leading supplier to the electronics industry, announces that Benny Pendergrass has taken on an expanded role in the company’s operations. He is now the Supply Chain Manager. In his new role, Benny will oversee ACD's materials and procurement teams, working to pursue enhanced service and performance for customers.

Benny has been with ACD for more than six years, most recently as the company’s materials manager. During his tenure at ACD, he has been responsible for all receiving, inventory, kitting and shipping operations. Prior to his arrival at ACD, he worked in various roles since 1996 in both purchasing and inventory control, including buyer/planner, senior buyer, parts manager and materials manager. His industry experience spans from paper products to electronics and semiconductors. Additionally, he has nearly 10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics SQL, ACD’s accounting and inventory software as well as having worked with numerous MRP/ERP systems including SAP and Oracle.

ACD is recognized as an innovator in the development and integration of data systems to assist with both production and customer communication. Benny will draw upon his experience to help ACD continue its focus on being an industry leader in contract manufacturing.
