LPKF Laser & Electronics will exhibit at the upcoming PCB West Conference and Exhibition, providing live demonstrations of its in-house rapid PCB prototyping equipment in booth #319. The exhibition takes place on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
LPKF’s in-house rapid PCB prototyping systems are ideal for in-house prototyping and eliminate the need for outsourcing. High-performance boards can be made and tested in a single day without the use of chemicals and allow for design freedom and a more innovative lab culture.
The featured system, the ProtoMat S103, creates PCBs by mechanically removing unwanted surface material from bare boards. The system’s working area can accommodate circuit boards up to 9 x12" in size and includes features such as automatic tool change, solder paste dispensing for mounting components and automatic milling depth adjustment. It also has a fiducial recognition camera for inspection and alignment, as well as fully supported software and through-hole capabilities.
