ZESTRON, the worldwide leader in high precision cleaning products and services for the electronics manufacturing industry, is pleased to announce that Ravi Parthasarathy, Senior Process Engineer, ZESTRON America, is partnering with EPTAC to conduct the workshop “Challenges of Conversion: From Leaded to Lead-Free Operation” at the IPC Medical Industries Technical Conference: Lead-Free Reliability Readiness.
Mr. Parthasarathy will give an overview on the critical significance of cleaning as it relates to the lead-free solder process including climatic reliability and conformal coating. Additionally, he will address the limitations of a lead-free no-clean process and DI-water cleaning as detailed in several case studies. Analytical techniques for assessing surface cleanliness will also be reviewed.
Since 2004, Ravi Parthasarthy, M.S. Chem. Eng., has been contributing to an extensive lead-free and eutectic screening series completed at ZESTRON’s Technical and Analytical center. Mr. Parthasarathy has authored and/or co-authored numerous technical articles on process reliability and cleaning process optimization as well as a DI-water vs. chemistry paper series.
The IPC Medical Industries Technical Conference: Lead-Free Reliability Readiness is scheduled for November 7th-9th at the Wyndham Hotel-Boston, 123 Old River Road, Andover, MA. To register or to receive additional information, please visit the IPC Medical Industries Technical Conference site.
