Datest, a leading provider of advanced, efficient and mission-critical in-circuit testing, test engineering, and X-ray inspection solutions, will highlight its testing, engineering, and training services in Booth #244 at the upcoming Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West Exposition, scheduled to take place February 12-14, 2013 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Representatives from Datest will be available at the show to discuss the company’s value-added services including:
Failure analysis and bonepile recovery
Trouble shooting, repair and retest of failed boards
3D X-Ray Inspection and Digital Tomographic Imaging
PCBA Electrical Testing and Test Engineering
Additionally, Datest recently implemented the Nordson DAGE XD7600NT500 Ruby X-ray Inspection System to further improve its troubleshooting, failure analysis, and bonepile rehabilitation efforts. The X-Plane™ technology speeds up the detection of defects that were previously undetectable with conventional X-ray technology without damaging the board. Also, the X-Plane™ software enables the user to obtain a nondestructive, virtual cross-section of the area of interest.
Datest utilizes the XD7600NT500 Ruby X-ray system for internal troubleshooting and failure analysis activities. Additionally, the system is available to Datest customers in need of fast and accurate resolution of unique or “one-off” problems. Head-in-pillow (HiP) defects, package-on-package (PoP) defects and micro-cracks, among other issues, will be addressed. As part of the new acquisition, Datest has implemented a quick-turn troubleshooting service for OEM and CM engineers.
