Europlacer to Exhibit a Range of Innovative Solution at SMT China 2013

 Europlacer, a manufacturer of market-leading flexible SMT placement machines, will highlight the new ii-Feed, the multi award-winning iineo platform and the market-leading Speedprint SP710avi in booth #1C40 at the upcoming NEPCON China exhibition and conference, scheduled to take place April 23-25, 2013 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai.

Europlacer’s advanced technologies and products will be on display in the company’s newly designed ii-Feed booth. Designed for maximum impact for the visitor, it will feature a clean layout, 360° viewing and a high level of user friendliness. Additionally, the booth will be staffed with Europlacer Shanghai’s knowledgeable experts.

The ii-Feed Cart has a capacity up to 33 separate component channels and accepts any mix of 8, 12, 16 or 24 mm smart ii-Feed elements. The cart boasts many features such as a component range that begins at 01005; however, it remains fully compatible with previous Europlacer machine generations. Both the previous and updated generations of Europlacer’s tape trolleys can be used on the same machine. It can be operated in three different modes like the older trolley generation, (wired/wireless micro terminal, programming ii-elements separately offline, and with or without Stock Management options), making it the most flexible cart in the industry. ii-Feed elements can be placed at any trolley location, without stopping production, and because of the Europlacer turret head design, random positioning does not affect throughput. The correct loading plan is guaranteed.

Also on display will be Europlacer’s flagship iineo platform. The iineo platform features many enhancements to the Europlacer machine range such as a higher feeder count, increased board size and increased maximum component height. The platform uses the company’s proven core features, including turret head, intelligent feeders, powerful software — while introducing technologies such as linear motors and digital cameras.  Additionally, the iineo is widely configurable, allowing for numerous different possibilities: Single or dual linear motor gantry including a rotary turret head with eight or 12 pickups; one or two board positioning mechanisms; oversized board options; and huge feeder capacity to front and rear, or front only.
