SMART Group, Europe’s largest technical trade association focusing on surface mount and related technologies, announces that its annual SMART Group European Conference & Table Top Exhibition will be held from 2-3 October 2013 at the Spread Eagle Hotel in Cornmarket Thame, Oxfordshire, England.

The conference will feature three expert speakers that will discuss material selection, case studies and the latest technologies on cleanliness evaluation.
Key speakers on these cleaning topics include:
Graham Naisbitt is the managing director at Gen3 Systems Ltd. as well as SMART’s Technical Vice Chairman. He is well known for his expertise on cleaning matters and conformal coatings. He has spoken at numerous global conferences and originated many papers. He sits on various international standards committees including IPC and BSI.
Mike Bixenman, DBA, is the chief technology officer (CTO) and cofounder of Kyzen Corporation. Dr. Bixenman is an industry expert for cleaning electronic circuitry and packages. He has authored numerous research papers and is the chair of two committees for IPC Handbooks on cleaning technologies.
Martin Königer studied Biotechnology and has comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the field of PCB cleaning. As Senior Manager at ZESTRON Europe, he is mainly responsible for key account support and customer care in Southern Europe and the UK.
