New Equipment – New Partnership

Apr 30, 2014

Mr. David Sigillo, Vice President of Seica Inc. North America is pleased to announce the sale of a Pilot 4DV8 to The Test Connection, Inc. (TTCI) of Owings Mills, Maryland. The Pilot line of Flying probers built by Seica SpA of Italy represents the latest in technology for testing, diagnosing and repairing boards in the electronics industry.  From prototypes to large volumes, the Seica “V8” is unmatched in throughput and capability.

Mr. Sigillo commented, “Working with TTCI is an honor and a privilege.  They are in an important region of the country, and they bring to the party several decades of test experience and knowledge. To be selected by TTCI, an existing user of other flying probers, is a testament to Seica capability.”

Mr. Bill Horner, President of The Test Connection, Inc. stated, “TTCI, with over 100 man years combined test engineering experience, was searching for the leading edge flying probe test system on the market, and determined Seica Inc. has the most innovative and technologically advanced system, the Pilot4D V8. By combining our vast engineering experience with modern high performance test equipment, we are able to offer our customers the highest test speed, test coverage and flexibility, with a low cost for testing prototype boards and low to medium volume production – no fixture required.”

The goal of both companies is to support customers no matter where they are located, and using the latest technology is critical to providing customers the “best test” in the “fastest time” possible.  Seica Inc. and The Test Connection, Inc. have teamed up to provide world class test solution and services to the marketplace.  An open house is scheduled for June 4, 2014, at the headquarters of The Test Connection, Inc.  Their demo center will be utilized for showcasing the Pilot 4DV8.
