Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, announces that ACME PCB Assembly has purchased an IR/PL 650 XL Rework system. Reworking large PCBs can be extremely difficult, and Ersa has responded with a large board rework machine that safely handles even the toughest applications.

The IR/PL 650 XL BGA rework machine gives ACME PCB Assembly the flexibility to work on different projects,” commented Stephen Yun, V.P. of Operations, ACME PCB Assembly. “The machine was extremely easy to setup and we are very happy with the purchase overall.”

The IR/PL 650 XL is Ersa‘s flagship machine for extra large printed circuit boards (PCBs). PCBs up to 20" x 24" or 500 mm x 625 mm can now be safely and rapidly reworked using one of the industry's largest and most powerful bottom-side heaters – an 8,000 W medium wavelength IR heater measuring 500 mm x 625 mm.

ACME PCB Assembly is an ISO 9000 certified printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) house located in Carson, California. The company provides PCB assembly for everything from consignment assembly to turnkey material procurement assembly, and has the tools required to manage the entire project efficiently.
