DDM Novastar, a U.S. manufacturer of SMT and PCB assembly equipment, announces it has expanded its service and support staffing to provide quicker response times and more direct focus on service requests, troubleshooting, field service, application assistance, parts identification, and customer training.
Jerry Schock will be moving up into the lead role as Technical Service Manager. Jerry joined the DDM Novastar engineering team last January as an Electro/Mechanical Designer, responsible for mechanical product development. With his extensive electronics design background, Jerry will be able to contribute an in-depth product knowledge to facilitate customer support and help develop and expand our Training Platform. Jerry will continue to be involved with Engineering & Product Development.
Working alongside Jerry will be Jack Peoples to help with the reflow ovens and soldering equipment. Jack’s 25+ years of experience with the prior company, APS Novastar, brings a wealth of first-hand product knowledge to our service team. As well as significant customer and company knowledge, Jack also brings a customer centric attitude that will help drive the service excellence program that the company is currently engaged upon.
