Carlsbad, CA – February 20, 2015: MVP is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Delphi China appreciation award. The award is presented to only one supplier every year. The award was presented by Huang Lixia (General Manager) and Yang Lin (Operations Director) at Delphi’s Suzhou facility to MVP’s President and CEO, Dr. George Ayoub.
The appreciation award was presented to MVP for their work to implement a high performance AOI solution allowing Delphi to achieve a better than 98% first pass yield (inclusive of defect and false calls) on all of their SMT Automotive production lines. This enabled Delphi Suzhou to make significant cost savings while improving product quality.
At the time of receiving the award Dr Ayoub commented:
